Naomi Osaka, a four-time Grand Slam champion, revealed on her Instagram Story that she and rapper Cordae are no longer together.
“No bad blood at all, he’s a great person and an awesome dad,” Osaka wrote.
“Honestly really glad our paths crossed because my daughter is my biggest blessing and I was able to grow a lot from our experiences together.”
The pair, who started dating in 2019 after meeting at a Los Angeles Clippers game, welcomed their daughter, Shai, in July 2023.
Naomi Osaka had kept her relationship with Cordae private until he confirmed it in a 2019 interview with GQ.
“I’ve come to the conclusion that what’s meant for me is meant for me and maybe certain situations occur to train my mind for what’s to come,” she wrote on Sunday.
“That being said this is about to be a great year.”
The Japanese tennis superstar, who returned to the tour at last year’s Australian Open after a break, recently withdrew from a tournament in Auckland, New Zealand due to injury.
