Florentino Pérez is on track to continue as the president of Real Madrid.

The election process started on January 7, but ultimately, he was the sole candidate for the role. As reported by Marca, he is set to remain in office until at least 2029, marking his seventh term as president.

Pérez first took on the role in 2000, with the exception of a brief hiatus between 2006 and 2009.

Throughout his tenure, he has only faced opposition in elections twice, in 2000 and 2004.

This uncontested run for presidency has solidified his position as the longest-serving president in Real Madrid’s history at 77 years old.
