Tokyo Toni Responds to Dream Kardashian’s Viral Livestream Comment

Tokyo Toni

Tokyo Toni, the outspoken mother of Angela White (formerly known as Blac Chyna), has addressed a viral moment involving her granddaughter, Dream Kardashian. The moment unfolded during a live stream between Dream and her mother, during which Dream was heard saying, “If Tokyo Toni goes on here, cut it off.”

The comment quickly sparked online chatter, with many speculating about the dynamic between Tokyo Toni and Dream. However, Tokyo quickly set the record straight in her own Livestream, which surfaced on X (formerly Twitter) on January 13.

Tokyo Toni Sets the Record Straight

In her livestream, Tokyo dismissed the idea that Dream’s comment was disrespectful.

“She treated it as the f**k she should,” Tokyo began, explaining that Dream was simply navigating the realities of social media. She added, “‘Grandma’ — that’s making it real personal [and] real cuddly.”

Tokyo clarified that Dream calls her “Grandma ” off-camera, but she doesn’t mind if Dream refers to her by her nickname, “Tokyo Toni,” on social media.

“She does not call me Toni, Tokyo, or Shalana [in private],” she said, emphasizing that the 7-year-old’s comment was likely a playful, on-screen moment.

Tokyo Embraces Her Unique Identity

Further addressing the situation, Tokyo expressed pride in her distinctive moniker, noting, “Ain’t no more Tokyo Toni’s. None. Nowhere with that name.” She added that Dream is free to use her nickname if she prefers, reiterating, “I don’t mind anyone using my nickname while referring to me.”

Before wrapping up, Tokyo praised her granddaughter, calling her “very intelligent… beautiful and all.”

The Viral Livestream Moment

The incident that sparked the conversation took place earlier this month, when Dream and Angela White were cooking together during a live stream. Dream’s offhand comment about Tokyo Toni led to widespread speculation about their family dynamic.

Despite the buzz, Tokyo’s response suggests there is no bad blood; it is only a grandmother letting her granddaughter navigate the spotlight on her own terms.
