A small plane crash in Los Angeles, California resulted in the deaths of at least two individuals, with 18 others sustaining injuries. The tragic incident occurred on Thursday afternoon, as confirmed by local law enforcement.
Following the crash at Fullerton Municipal Airport, 10 individuals were taken to hospitals for treatment while eight received immediate care at the scene.
Television footage revealed a significant hole in the roof of the building, with smoke emerging from the wreckage.
“All we hear is like a loud noise, boom, and that’s it. Then we started running out of the building,” Jerome Cruz, one of the workers who witnessed the scene, told CBS News.
According to the Federal Aviation Administration, which has opened an investigation, the plane was a single-engine Van’s RV-10, a small model with four seats.
The last one week has been a terrible and devastating period for the global aviation sector with four plane crashes recorded in different part of the world.
The most catastrophic of the crashes was the Jeju air plane crash in Muna, South Korea, over 180 passengers and crew members on board the ill-fated flight died in the mishap.
