Travis Kelce has stirred up speculation by discussing his thoughts on the best time of year to avoid having weddings.
The NFL star, who has been romantically linked to Taylor Swift since September 2023, recently shared his opinions on the subject in an episode of his New Heights podcast.
When a fan called in to ask the Kansas City Chiefs Tight End for his thoughts on autumn weddings, he replied, “I actually don’t know people who’ve gotten married in the fall, because all the weddings I’ve been to, and all my friends, always do it in the summer.”
As the caller said they didn’t want their own wedding to clash with NFL games in the autumn months, Travis Kelce continued, “You gotta be willing to, you know, find a weekend where the team isn’t playing anybody good.”
And sharing a top tip, he added, “Maybe it’s in her best interest to not have it in the fall, so that she knows you’re invested in the anniversary every time it comes around.”
However, Kelce’s brother, Jason, who co-hosts the podcast told the caller, “There’s certain things that are more important than football, and if the wedding isn’t more important than football, we got some bigger issues here.”
While Travis Kelce didn’t directly mention his own wedding plans, many fans believe his comments hint at a possible future wedding with Swift. This has led to a frenzy of speculation among supporters hoping to see the couple tie the knot.
