Apple, the popular American multinational technology company, has officially unveiled the iPhone 16e as the latest addition to its iPhone 16 series.
A statement released on Apple’s news website on Wednesday highlighted the device’s performance, design, and affordability.
Pre-orders for the iPhone 16e will start on February 21, 2025, with the official release date set for February 28. Priced at $599, the iPhone 16e will replace the iPhone SE, previously priced at $429.
In an effort to boost sales after a slow holiday season, the company’s strategy includes introducing the iPhone 16e. The new smartphone will be available in 59 countries, including the United States, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
The launch of the iPhone 16e comes after the debut of the standard iPhone 16 at Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California, on September 9, 2024.
