Asake officially exits YBNL, unveils ‘Giran Republic’

Asake

Singer Asake, also known as Ahmed Ololade, has officially announced his departure from YBNL Nation.

There were rumors circulating about him leaving Olamide’s YBNL in controversial circumstances, but he confirmed his exit by dropping his latest track, ‘Why Love,’ under his new label, Giran Republic.

Asake had previously shown respect to Olamide in his earlier release, ‘Military,’ putting to rest any speculation of a disagreement between them.

He joined YBNL Nation in February 2022 and later signed a distribution deal with Empire in July 2022.

Even though he has left YBNL, he will continue his partnership with Empire.
