Burglars invade Olivier Giroud’s home, cart away €500k worth of valuables

Burglars reportedly broke into former France striker Olivier Giroud’s Los Angeles home and stole nearly €500,000 worth of valuables while he and his family were away on February 5.

The stolen items included valuables belonging to Giroud and his wife.

An investigation has been launched by local authorities, but no arrests have been made yet.

Giroud, 37, moved to Los Angeles FC after leaving AC Milan last summer but has struggled for form, failing to score in 14 appearances. 

This burglary follows a growing trend of high-profile footballers being targeted by criminals while away from home.
