South African social media star and DJ Cyan Boujee—real name Honour Zuma—has once again sparked conversation by sharing her latest cosmetic procedure: a breast lift.
The 23-year-old, known for her bold personality and openness about her transformations, recently underwent surgery in Durban, and she’s candidly explained her reasons behind the decision.
In a recent post on TshisaLIVE, Cyan Boujee revealed the motivation for her breast lift. “I’m just getting my boobs lifted up so they are upright and pointy,” she explained. She further disclosed that her previous gastric sleeve surgery had left her with saggy breasts—a change she wasn’t happy with.
“I want to have a unique body and surgery is very addictive. Once you start, you can’t stop,” she added, hinting at an ongoing transformation journey.
Cyan’s transformation story is not new to her fans. Earlier last year, she traveled to Turkey for gastric sleeve surgery, which helped her lose a significant amount of weight.
In fact, six months after the surgery, she proudly shared a before-and-after photo on her Instagram Stories, showing an impressive 25kg weight loss—from 92kg to 68kg. Dedicated to her fitness and self-improvement, she revealed that her goal is to reach at least 65kg.
In a reflective TikTok post, she noted that while the gastric sleeve surgery was a crucial step in her weight loss journey, it also left her with an outcome that wasn’t entirely ideal. “I want to have a new body and surgeries are addictive,” she said, acknowledging that these procedures have boosted her confidence and helped her embrace a fresh, empowered version of herself.
Citing American rapper Cardi B as one of her inspirations—who has also been open about her own cosmetic surgeries—Cyan stressed the importance of self-love and personal happiness.
“I know I’m just 22 [now 23] and I’m putting my body under much pressure, but I want to be in a space where I am genuinely happy with my body,” she affirmed. Despite public scrutiny and opinions, she remains unapologetic: “I don’t care much about opinions and judgments. I do what makes me happy.”
For those unfamiliar, gastric sleeve surgery, according to the Mayo Clinic, is a weight-loss procedure in which approximately 80% of the stomach is removed.
This surgery restricts food intake and has been a life-changing intervention for many who want to achieve their weight loss goals.
