Meghan Markle and Billie Eilish joined forces to aid a teenage victim of the LA wildfires. The duchess made a plea on behalf of the girl who had lost her home, and Billie answered the call.
In a social media post, Meghan, 43, shared how she had met a young girl who cherished a t-shirt she had purchased at one of Billie’s concerts.

Thanks to Meghan’s network, a message reached Billie who swiftly sent a package of signed t-shirts, vinyl records, and other memorabilia to Meghan’s residence.
“About two or three weeks ago, when my husband and I were in Altadena, we went to a community where all the homes were left in ashes,” Meghan said.
“I saw this young woman and I said, ‘Oh my gosh, how old are you?’. She’s 15. She lives there. And her mom shared something with me… that all that she’d been looking for, in her home, was the t-shirt from the Billie Eilish concert that she had just gone to – that she left in the washing machine or the dryer.
“And of course, they now see their home and the washing machine and the dryer are ash. They’re not there any more. And so I said, ‘Well I don’t know Billie Eilish, but I’m going to figure out how to get you this shirt’.”
“Thank you Billie Eilish – this is going to mean so much to her,” Meghan Markle gushed.
The LA fires began on January 7 and burned through close to 24,000 acres of land, killing at least 29 people and destroying in excess of 10,000 homes.
