Former signee of Marlians records, Lil Smart, has made a dramatic turnaround by refuting a series of accusations against his ex-record label boss, Naira Marley.
Previously, there was a heated controversy between Lil Smart and Naira Marley, with allegations of cyberbullying, kidnapping, assault, and robbery flying around.
The Nigerian police recently confirmed that Lil Smart was indeed arrested based on a petition from Naira Marley amidst the ongoing feud. The police statement on Instagram disclosed that Lil Smart was apprehended at his residence in Mejamogun Estate, Ajah, Lagos, with incriminating evidence seized.
In a new twist of events, Lil Smart has come forward to set the record straight in an interview with Muyiwa Adejobi, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigerian Police Force.
He denied the claims he previously made about Naira Marley, stating that the singer never bullied, kidnapped, or exploited him financially.
