Award-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, better known as Tems, has bagged another Grammy award.
The Afrobeat singer won the Best African Music Performance category for her popular song “Love Me Jeje” at the 67th Grammy Awards, which were held at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 2nd, 2025.
The talented singer won the award by beating her colleagues, Yemi Alade’s ‘Tomorrow,’ Asake MMS, Chris Brown Sensational, and Burna Boy Higher.
Tems had received three nominations at this year’s Grammys, bringing her career nomination to a total of eight.
Her big win at this year’s Grammys makes it her second Grammy win. In 2023, she won the Best Melodic Rap Performance category for contributing to the hit song “Wait for U” with Future and Drake.
