Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing Sunday was left stunned after her boyfriend, Eseoghene Obire, popularly known as Xxssive, surprised her at home.
In a video shared on his Instagram page, Xxssive captured the moment he approached Nkechi while she was arranging clothes.
The actress caught off guard, instinctively shielded her face with one of the clothes as her boyfriend approached her.
Accompanying the video, Xxssive playfully hinted that he was canceling Valentine’s Day for her this year, joking about the sheer volume of clothes she owns.
“Val has officially been canceled this year. See as person clothes b like full boutique. Jesus is King.”
Nkechi and Xxssive’s Love Story
Nkechi and Xxssive, who have been dating since 2021 following her split from Ekiti politician Opeyemi Falegan, have had their share of breakup rumours. However, they have continuously shut down speculations with public displays of affection.
In December, the couple sparked engagement rumors after a viral video showed Xxssive proposing to Nkechi. However, the actress later clarified that the proposal was staged.
Last year, amid breakup speculations, Xxssive surprised Nkechi at her pop-up beauty launch, leaving the actress in tears of joy. The emotional moment was captured on video, showing Nkechi dropping to the ground in disbelief as onlookers cheered.
Addressing online critics, Nkechi later shared a loved-up video of herself and Xxssive, stating:
“You all are looking for chemistry online while I’m living my real-life romance outside the gram. Believe whatever you want, it doesn’t affect my love or finances.”

Before the breakup rumors, Nkechi had openly expressed her desire for marriage, citing the influence of high-profile weddings, including those of Davido and Sharon Ooja. She even playfully pondered on a possible wedding hashtag with Xxssive, emphasizing that “love is sweet and a beautiful thing.”
