Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka is “ready to go” ahead of their Premier League clash against Fulham on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old winger underwent hamstring surgery in December and has been sidelined for months after sustaining a muscle tear during Arsenal’s 5-1 victory over Crystal Palace.
Arsenal has battled multiple injuries this season, with Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz, and Gabriel Jesus all enduring lengthy spells out.
Additionally, Riccardo Calafiori has been ruled out for several weeks after picking up an injury during the international break with Italy.
Saka’s return is a significant boost for the Gunners, who are chasing their first-ever Champions League title and are set to face Real Madrid in the quarterfinal first leg on April 8.
In the Premier League, Arsenal currently sits second, trailing Liverpool by 12 points as they continue their title pursuit.
