King Charles III, the British monarch, has openly shared his appreciation for Nigerian artist Davido, stating that his music has sparked his interest in Pidgin English.

King Charles III has expressed a keen interest in speaking Pidgin during his next visit to Nigeria.

In a recent episode of the Apple Music show, The King’s Music Room, King Charles III revealed his diverse music preferences and highlighted Davido’s song “Kante” featuring Fave as one of his top picks.

“Davido has made me love Pidgin language. I would like to speak it the next time I visit Nigeria. Thanks to Afrobeats, it’s becoming more popular around the world,” Charles III stated.

Davido, via his Instagram story, reposted the video as he gave a shout-out to the royal family.
