The Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, announced on Wednesday, March 26, that the Federal Government has declared Monday, March 31, and Tuesday, April 1, as public holidays to celebrate the Eid-el-Fitr in 2025.
Tunji-Ojo congratulated the Muslim community on completing the Ramadan fast and encouraged them to embody qualities such as self-discipline, compassion, generosity, and peace.
He stressed the importance of love, forgiveness, and unity in creating a more cohesive society.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Interior, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, urged Nigerians to use this festive period to pray for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the nation.
