Ruben Amorim, the manager of Manchester United, made it clear that Marcus Rashford is not currently under his management.
Speaking at a press conference before their Premier League match against Nottingham Forest, Amorim addressed Rashford’s departure from Manchester United after falling out of favor.
The English forward has since joined Aston Villa on loan and has been performing impressively, scoring two goals in their recent FA Cup victory over Preston.
Asked about Rashford ahead of Man United’s clash with Nottingham Forest, Amorim said as quoted by Fabrizio Romano: “I am focused on my team and my players. Rashford is not my player at the moment.
“But of course I am happy when our players are playing well on loan.”
Amorim also provided the latest injury update on Ayden Heaven.
“Ayden Heaven’s injury is not so serious. He’s not ready yet now but he will play again this season, for sure,” he said.
