Jeriq, the Nigerian rapper known for his hit song ‘Secure The Bag’, recently gave insight into why he has never been in a relationship at the age of 25.
He expressed his lack of faith in a woman’s ability to truly love and remain faithful to him, citing this as the reason for his single status.
Despite his doubts, Jeriq mentioned that if he were to encounter someone loyal, he would consider giving love a chance.
While he currently remains skeptical about the concept of love, he acknowledged the possibility of his perspective evolving in the future.
“You know there’s love and love. For instance, I love my brothers, my family and friends. But the concept of a relationship between a man and a woman, I don’t think it is real. I don’t believe in it.
“I don’t believe that a girl can love and be loyal to only me. I don’t believe that it is possible. If I can see someone who will be loyal and honest with me, I will love her and reciprocate.
“But I know it’s not possible. So, I don’t believe in love. I’m still a small boy sha so let’s watch.”
