Alleged N1.38bn fraud: Jude Okoye granted N100m bail

Former manager of the disbanded music group P-Square, Jude Okoye, has been given a bail of N100m.

He was granted bail on Monday, March 3rd, 2025, in anticipation of his trial for alleged money laundering charges totaling N1.38 billion, $1 million, and £34,537.59.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) arraigned Jude Okoye before the court and he was held in Ikoyi prison on Friday.

He has been granted bail of N100 million with two sureties who each have N100 million worth of property in Lagos. Additionally, Okoye is not allowed to leave the country without authorization.

His trial is scheduled to start on April 14, 2025.
