Meghan Markle has opened up about an intimate nightly tradition she shares with her husband, Prince Harry, and it involves a “nightcap recap.”
In a new interview with People—following the premiere of her Netflix show With Love, Meghan—the 43-year-old Duchess of Sussex revealed that she and Harry, 40, wind down each evening with a drink while preparing lunchboxes for their children, Archie (5) and Lilibet (3).
“I think all parents in this phase with kids the same age know it’s rinse and repeat,” she shared about their routine.
Aside from making lunches and having a beverage, the couple also watches TV together. Markle mentioned they recently finished Black Doves and are excited for the next season of The White Lotus.
During her Netflix show, Markle gave a rare glimpse into their family life in Montecito. In one episode, as she prepared a rainbow fruit salad for a children’s party, she emphasized the importance of being a “present parent.”
“It’s a real delight to be a present parent. And it’s a luxury sometimes because we all have to work, we all have a lot to do. But finding the fun in those moments makes for a really sweet start to the weekend.”
While Prince Harry largely stayed behind the scenes, he made a special appearance in the finale of the eight-episode series.
