Sia quietly added a third child to her family earlier this year, welcoming a baby with her estranged husband Dan Bernad 11 months ago, according to divorce documents obtained by People magazine.
The baby, named Somersault Wonder Bernad, was born on 27 March 2024.
In the divorce filing, Sia is seeking legal and physical custody of Somersault, with visitation rights for Bernad. The amount of physical custody time will be determined by both parents.
Sia, who is known for being private about her personal life, married Bernad in a small ceremony in Italy with only four guests in May 2023. Before her marriage to Bernad, Sia became a mother to two teenage boys in 2019 when they were both 18 years old.
In a 2020 interview with InStyle, she opened up on her journey to motherhood, noting that she “wanted to be a mom my whole entire life”.
The Chandelier hitmaker detailed her issues with infertility, saying she had undergone IVF treatments with her ex-husband, filmmaker Erik Anders Lang.
