In promotion of her new memoir, Beyoncé’s mother, Tina Knowles, has revealed plans for a tour which will include an event titled An Evening With Tina Knowles in London.
Knowles took to her Instagram page to share the exciting news along with a flyer showcasing the upcoming events.
The tour kicks off on 30 April with a session in Washington DC featuring former First Lady Michelle Obama as the moderator.
Knowles will then embark on an eight-show journey across North America, concluding the tour in London on 4 June.
“I’m so excited to take Matriarch on the road and extend the conversation beyond the pages,” Tina Knowles shared in a statement.
“Storytelling has always been a part of who I am – something I learned from my mother – and now, at 71, I finally understand who I truly am.
“This journey has been about strength, motherhood, family pride and identity, and I hope these conversations help others embrace their own stories and celebrate the power of knowing what we deserve.”
Back in October, the mother of the pop icon announced her new book, titled Matriarch: A Memoir, with a synopsis billing it as “a multi-generational family saga that carries within it the story of America – and the wisdom that women pass on to each other, mothers to daughters, across generations”.
