In a recent interview with Club Radio, Davido, the famous singer, opened up about the financial support he still receives from his father, Dr. Deji Adeleke.
Despite being a successful musician, Davido admitted that his billionaire dad still helps him out financially.
However, he mentioned that he uses the money he earns from his music to cover expenses related to his music career, such as promoting his albums.
Davido also shared a heartwarming memory of how his father once surprised him by attending one of his performances at the State Farm.
After the show, Dr. Deji Adeleke called Davido to praise his performance and even sent him $300K as a token of appreciation.
“I’m his baby, of course my dad still gives me a cheque…” he quipped.
