The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board(JAMB), has officially released the results of the 2025 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), which was administered on Thursday nationwide.
The spokesperson for the board, Fabian Benjamin, communicated this information in a statement issued on Sunday in Abuja.
Benjamin indicated that candidates may access their results by sending the text “MOCKRESULT” to either 55019 or 66019 utilizing the phone number that was registered for the examination.
He elaborated that the exercise was designed to assess the Board’s annual innovations and to furnish candidates with an opportunity to acclimate to the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment.
As reported in the statement, a total of 200,115 candidates initially expressed their intention to participate; however, two candidates subsequently withdrew, culminating in a total of 200,113 registered candidates.
The statement further indicated that among those registered, 73,844 candidates were absent on the day of the examination, and 88 candidates did not pass the biometric verification screening.
Moreover, it was noted that consequently, 126,181 candidates successfully completed the examination, and results for 115,735 of these candidates are currently accessible for review.
“Additionally, 10,446 results are still being processed and will be released soon.
“ The JAMB Board acknowledges the delays experienced by some candidates during the examination and regrets any inconvenience caused. These challenges are anticipated due to the new features implemented to enhance the overall conduct of the main UTME.
“JAMB appreciates the support of candidates and parents in facilitating a smoother process,” Benjamin said.
