Pep Guardiola and his wife, Cristina Serra, are said to be working towards reconciliation after spending Easter weekend together in Barcelona.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2014, separated earlier this year and had started divorce proceedings. However, reports suggest they are now willing to try and make their marriage work.
Serra, who is involved in the fashion industry, had relocated to Barcelona in 2019 with their youngest child.
Guardiola’s decision to extend his contract with Manchester City may have contributed to their separation. To bridge the distance, Guardiola plans on making frequent visits to Catalunya.
The couple, who have been together since 1994, have three children.
Despite personal challenges, the manager remains focused on leading Manchester City to a top-four finish and potentially winning the FA Cup. A potential break over the summer could be limited by the Club World Cup commitments.
