A new round of drama has erupted on social media as Nigerian singers Skales and Dammy Krane go head-to-head following the resurfacing of a controversial track allegedly aimed at Davido.
The tension flared after a user on X (formerly Twitter) accused Skales of losing respect by jumping on a track with Dammy Krane that appeared to take shots at Davido.

Skales quickly denied any current involvement, clarifying that the song was recorded over a decade ago and uploaded without his or Runtown’s permission.
“That track is from over 10 years ago… it will be taken down,” Skales wrote.
Dammy Krane, however, didn’t take the comment lightly. He clapped back at Skales, accusing him of hypocrisy and warning him not to “cross” him if he didn’t want divine punishment.
“Did I force you to record? Don’t cross me if you no want make God use me punish you… I’m petty asf,” he fired.
Dammy Krane ended his rant by plugging his latest single “5IVE,” which fans speculate is aimed at Davido, continuing their long-running beef over alleged unpaid royalties.
As of now, neither Davido nor Runtown has responded to the drama.
