Nigerian singer Joeboy has reacted after losikg N3million in a bet after Arsenal defeated Real Madrid 3-0 in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final on Tuesday.
Prior to the match, Joeboy had expressed confidence in Real Madrid winning, posting a betting slip with the caption, “Cashing out on Arsenal tears tonight!”
He could have won N10,345,000 if Madrid had emerged victorious, but goals from Declan Rice and Mikel Merino sealed the victory for Arsenal.
The singer was left stunned by the result and could only tweet “Goodnight” after the game.
Arsenal will now prepare for the second leg at the Santiago Bernabeu, while also having a Premier League match against Brentford before that.
