Actor Val Kilmer has passed away at the age of 65 in Los Angeles after battling pneumonia, as confirmed by his daughter, Mercedes Kilmer on Tuesday night.
Val Kilmer, known for his roles in films like “Top Gun,” “The Doors,” “Tombstone,” and “Batman Forever,” was a prominent figure in Hollywood in the 1990s.
Despite facing setbacks in his career due to disagreements with colleagues and a series of unsuccessful projects, Kilmer was still revered for his intense and perfectionistic approach to his craft.
In 2014, he was diagnosed with throat cancer, but he ultimately recovered from the illness.
