In a recent interview on the podcast series Tea with Tay, celebrated singer KCee discussed why his younger brother, E-Money, is wealthier than him.
He revealed that E-Money used to be his manager during the peak of his music career and was more financially successful than him. E-Money had even sponsored KCee’s wedding at one point.
According to him, E-Money’s focus on business resulted in him making more money than KCee, who was solely focused on his music career.
KCee acknowledged that the income and popularity of a musician can fluctuate based on the success of their music.
He admitted that if he had invested the same amount of time and resources into business as E-Money, he would have been much wealthier than he is now.
He said in part …
“He used to be my manager; I made money before him. When he was doing his wedding I was part of the sponsor, then he started making money and making more money. And I must say this, the number of years I have put into music, if I had put it into a business I would be ten times richer than I am.”
