Carlo Ancelotti, the manager of Real Madrid, has stated that Xabi Alonso does not require his guidance when it comes to coaching the Los Blancos.
Alonso is anticipated to take over from Ancelotti at Real Madrid after announcing his departure from Bayern Munich at the season’s end.
The Spanish coach has signed a three-year deal with Real Madrid to lead the team in the upcoming season.
Meanwhile, Ancelotti is set to depart Real Madrid to take on the role of head coach for the Brazil national team this summer.
In anticipation of Real Madrid’s LaLiga match against Mallorca on Wednesday, the manager praised Alonso as an excellent manager.
“Xabi Alonso doesn’t need any advice from me as he’s a great manager,” he said via Fabrizio Romano.
“He has everything to become a top, top coach.”
Alonso was a former Real Madrid midfielder during his playing days.
