Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold who earns £180,000 weekly reveals he still lives with his parents and does dishes

Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to end his two-decade association with Liverpool at the conclusion of the 2024/25 season.

According to The Athletic, the 26-year-old is on the verge of signing a six-year deal with Real Madrid as a free agent, in what is being hailed as one of the biggest Bosman moves in recent memory.

In a heartfelt message, Alexander-Arnold said:

“I’ve been here 20 years now, loved every single minute of it, achieved all my dreams… I feel like I need a new change, a new challenge for me as a player and as a person.”

During his time at Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold made 352 appearances, scored 23 goals, and registered 92 assists.

He was central to the club’s modern golden era under Jurgen Klopp, winning the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, and two Carabao Cups.

Real Madrid have had their sights set on the England international for a while, viewing him as a crucial addition to their defense.

With Dani Carvajal facing age-related issues and injury concerns, the timing of Alexander-Arnold’s move aligns perfectly with Madrid’s long-term plans.

Sources with knowledge of the negotiations reveal that the deal is nearing its completion and will be finalized shortly.

Despite Liverpool’s efforts to keep him at the club, including unsuccessful contract extension talks led by new sporting director Richard Hughes, Alexander-Arnold ultimately decided to make the switch to Madrid.

While Liverpool managed to secure new deals for Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, they were unable to reach an agreement with their vice-captain.

Madrid’s offer, both in terms of sporting opportunities and financial rewards, proved too enticing for Alexander-Arnold to turn down.
