Crystal Palace achieved a historic milestone by winning their first major trophy in a surprising 1-0 victory over Manchester City in the FA Cup final.
The winning goal came from Eberechi Eze in the first half, while Dean Henderson made a crucial penalty save to secure the win.
Eze scored in the 16th minute after a well-executed play involving Daniel Munoz and Jean-Philippe Mateta.
City had a chance to equalize in the 36th minute but Henderson denied their efforts, including a penalty save.
Despite City’s attempts to level the score in the second half, Crystal Palace’s defense, led by Daichi Kamada and Munoz, held strong.
Henderson’s save on Claudio Echeverri’s shot ensured Palace emerged victorious in one of the club’s greatest triumphs.
