A recent report by the controversial blog, Gistlover, alleges that Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo and his wife, Omotayo Sanusi, are facing serious marital issues.
In a post on Instagram, Gistlover accused Femi Adebayo of being unfaithful, which has reportedly caused ongoing conflicts in the marriage. The blog claimed that a confrontation broke out in Ibrahim Chatta’s hometown after Omotayo confronted Funke Akindele, accusing her of having an affair with her husband. During the incident, she allegedly damaged hotel property, and Femi later covered the costs.
The situation reportedly worsened after their return to Lagos, with Omotayo threatening to ruin Femi’s Netflix project and publicly shame Funke Akindele. This allegedly led Femi to move out and rent an apartment on the Island.
According to the blog, Omotayo was involved in a serious car accident, prompting her in-laws to decide against getting involved in the marital dispute.
Omotayo has since claimed to be pregnant and insists she will not leave her husband’s home.
The crisis took a spiritual turn when Femi’s brother allegedly found a calabash in their home, suggesting possible spiritual practices at play.
The issue has now grown beyond a marital conflict, becoming a larger family and spiritual matter, with tensions escalating and a potential social media uproar looming.
Femi Adebayo and Omotayo Sanusi had a private wedding ceremony attended by family and close friends. This is Femi’s second marriage; he was previously married to Khadijat Adebayo, with whom he has three children.
