Frontier Airlines fire workers over viral video

Two Frontier Airlines check-in desk agents who gained popularity online last Friday (May 2) have been terminated by the airline.

The viral video features a Frontier customer attempting to check in for a flight from North Carolina to Boston, only to be faced with a $25 fee.

This led to a dispute between the customer and the Frontier employees.

With one of the employees repeatedly saying:

“And you thought you was gonna get on your flight.”

The customer documented the incident along with the check-in desk agents.

According to TMZ, in a statement, Frontier Airlines said:

“We are aware of what occurred and have been directly in touch with the customer. The individuals in question, who work for a third party contractor, are no longer associated with the Frontier account.”

The airline refunded the customer’s original flight and reimbursed him for a different flight he booked to get home.
