Kim Kardashian has officially completed her law studies, marking a significant milestone in her legal journey.
The 44-year-old reality star and entrepreneur celebrated the occasion with a private backyard graduation ceremony, which she shared proudly on Instagram.
Dressed in a grey top, black mini skirt, and a beige graduation cap, Kardashian sat by a podium while mentors delivered heartfelt speeches and her children looked on. One mentor described her path as “one of the most inspiring legal journeys we’ve ever seen.”

Unlike traditional law students, Kim did not attend a formal law school. She enrolled in California’s Law Office Study Program (LOSP) — a non-traditional path that allows aspiring lawyers to “read the law” under the supervision of licensed attorneys for four years instead of attending law school.
While the SKIMS founder has completed the required program, she must still pass the California Bar Exam before officially practicing law.
The achievement has drawn mixed reactions online. While fans praised her perseverance, others mocked the extended timeline, pointing out that the LOSP typically spans four years and wondering why it took her longer. Some also questioned her choice to host a solo backyard graduation rather than a formal ceremony.
Despite the trolls, Kim remains focused on her long-term goal of becoming a criminal justice reform advocate. She’s pursued this passion since helping secure clemency for nonviolent offenders in recent years.
