Lady Gaga was unaware of the bomb threat at her historic Brazil show until after the performance, as she only found out from media reports the following day.
Two individuals were arrested in connection to the threat, with police revealing they are part of a terrorist group holding anti-LGBTQ views.
Despite working with officials on security measures prior to the show, Gaga’s team only learned of the threat from the news reports.
The full address from the singer’s spokesperson was issued to THR and read:
“We learned about this alleged threat via media reports this morning. Prior to and during the show, there were no known safety concerns, nor any communication from the police or authorities to Lady Gaga regarding any potential risks. Her team worked closely with law enforcement throughout the planning and execution of the concert, and all parties were confident in the safety measures in place.”
