Arsenal winger, Bukayo Saka, was left in awe of Barcelona’s young talent Lamine Yamal, describing him as “extraordinary”.
Despite still being 17 years old, Yamal has already played 100 games for his club and impressed with his performance in a recent Champions League match against Inter Milan, where he helped secure a 3-3 draw.
“He’s top. Honestly, doing what he is doing at his age, what can you say, he’s unreal,” Saka told Sky Sports.
“It’s not normal. No one does it. I don’t think I’ve seen that level for a 17-year-old, so credit to him.”
Yamal’s stats at his age have surpassed those of legends like Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
With 49 goals and assists in his first 100 games, he has outperformed both Messi and Ronaldo at the same stage of their careers.
Messi had 55 goals and assists after 100 games, but was almost 21 years old by that point.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo had only managed 26 goals and assists in his first 100 professional appearances at the age of 19.
