The EFCC has stated that Chief Government Ekpemupolo, also known as Tompolo, will need to address concerns regarding a video circulating online showing him allegedly engaging in the misuse of Nigerian currency.
Following the release of the video by Harrison A, also known as #harreceipts, there has been public outrage urging the Commission to take action against him similar to other offenders.
The video, captured during his 54th birthday celebration in April, shows him dancing while being showered with N1,000 notes.
Responding to the demands by netizens, EFCC in a post on its official X handle on Monday said: “Nobody is above the law. Tompolo will have questions to answer!”
