Nollywood actor Femi Adebayo Salami recently opened up about his emotional breakdown on stage after winning Best Actor at the AMVCA.

The talented actor and filmmaker, who received the award at the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, expressed gratitude to those who made the moment possible.

“A truly deserved award, and I’m deeply grateful for this moment with every fibre of my being. The real reason for my breakdown is known only to me and Allah.

Femi Adebayo’s success in the film industry, particularly with his movie Jagun Jagun on Netflix, has solidified his reputation as a skilled and deserving artist.

In October, Adebayo was quite elated as his 2023 movie, Jagun Jagun bagged 7 nominations at the 2024 AMAA.

In November, he won big at the Best of Nollywood awards where he bagged 4 awards for his 2023 movie, Jagun Jagun. He won the Best Actor award, Best Use of Costume, Best Art Design, and Best Use of Effect, which he dedicated to the people of Kwara state.

A week later, he won another award at Odunlade Adekola Film Production Award ceremony
