Nigerian afrobeats sensation Davido shared a story about how Cristiano Ronaldo, the former Manchester United striker, canceled a dinner date with him following his team’s loss in a match.
Davido revealed that Ronaldo had invited him to watch a game at Old Trafford and had planned a dinner for him and his entourage.
However, the dinner was called off after Manchester United’s defeat.
Playfully, Davido mentioned that he still holds a grudge against Manchester United defender Harry Maguire, whom he jokingly blamed for the team’s loss.
On his X page on Tuesday night, the singer wrote, “Football ehn fit give person BP… I remember when CR7 personally invite me come watch match for Old Trafford then a couple of years ago … He don book dinner all! Party chillin etc …. Nah so dem go lose match, bab vex go house. Since that day I still never forgive Maguire.”
