Chris Brown has had enough — and he’s making that crystal clear.
Taking to his Instagram Stories, the R&B star delivered a fiery message aimed at critics and fans who continue to compare him to other artists. Brown expressed frustration over what he views as unfair treatment and a media narrative focused solely on controversy rather than his artistic contributions.
He wrote:
“I wish y’all stop comparing me to other artists and saying me vs someone else.
Until one of these artists do all this sht by themselves with no help and the media constantly fcking with them, then come holla at me. I’m trying to feed my family! I could give a fck about the next artist and what they doing! I don’t fck with celebrities at all and I’m not welcome in their circles!”
He also addressed the ongoing narrative surrounding his public image, saying:
“I BEEN OVERLY BUSting MY ASS FOR THE LAST 20 years and I understand I will never be recognized for nothing more than drama!
So miss me with all dat sh*t please!”
His comments arrive as he continues his Breezy Bowl X stadium tour, even after recently pleading not guilty to an assault charge in the UK. Chris Brown made it clear that the tour is for his “dedicated fans” and that he’s staying focused on his craft, not the noise.
Whether praised or scrutinized, Chris Brown clearly isn’t interested in comparisons — and he’s standing firm in his truth.
