American rapper and singer, Tyler The Creator, has revealed the depth of his lifelong passion for music, stating that it surpasses any romantic relationship he has ever had.
During a candid conversation on Instagram, the Grammy winner opened up about how music has been central to his life since childhood.
“Music for me is not just a hobby. As a kid, I didn’t really play with toys, I liked CDs,” he shared. “I love when my mom takes me to the storehouse because I would just sit near CD collections, reading the credits. That was the greatest thing for me.”
He recalled skipping typical childhood activities just to immerse himself in music. “I was attending birthday parties, I was at Warehouse Music. I love music so much, more than any girl I’ve ever dated and they know,” he said.
Tyler The Creator added without hesitation: “I told them, I like you, but you would never come above music. Me making music would be forever.”
The statement further solidifies the Odd Future frontman’s reputation as a deeply dedicated and creatively driven artist.
