Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, has credited his enduring presence in the music industry to his unwavering resilience.
The Afro-fusion star shared that he has faced numerous personal struggles that could have derailed his life, but he chose to persevere regardless.
Speaking about the inspiration behind his forthcoming album, No Sign of Weakness, during a chat with NSTV, Burna Boy said:
“I have had the most reasons to not exist anymore, but I have shown no sign of weakness. That’s what this album is saying; through everything, no sign of weakness will be shown. That is what I want everyone coming after me to do, show no sign of weakness.”
No Sign of Weakness will mark Burna Boy’s eighth studio album and is set to be released on July 11, 2025, under Atlantic Records, Spaceship, and Bad Habit.
