Justin Bieber caused a stir on Father’s Day after sharing a series of intense messages on social media, revealing a fallout with an unnamed friend and reflecting on the role of conflict in relationships.
The 31-year-old pop star took to Instagram on Sunday evening, where he posted screenshots of an emotional text exchange. In the messages, he appeared to end a friendship after being accused of “lashing out.”
“I will never suppress my emotions for someone,” Justin Bieber wrote. “Conflict is part of relationship. If you don’t like my anger you don’t like me.”
In another post, he confirmed the end of the friendship, stating that he has other friends who “respect” his boundaries and urged the individual to stop contacting him.
Despite the drama, the Canadian singer remained active online, posting several photos including shots of his tattoos, his son Jack, and his wife Hailey Bieber at a piano. One striking selfie was captioned, “I’m a dad that’s not to be f**ked with,” a post that received a like from Hailey.
Hailey, however, did not publicly share a Father’s Day message for Justin, although it seemed she gave him a gift to mark the occasion. Justin Bieber later posted photos flaunting a luxurious gold and diamond watch and two Prada bags, captioning one now-deleted post: “Happy daddy day to me u lil h*.”
The posts have drawn mixed reactions online, with fans and critics weighing in on Bieber’s emotional honesty and the boundaries of public self-expression.
