Nollywood actor Linc Edochie, elder brother to Yul Edochie, has unfollowed May Edochie on Instagram, signaling a public break amid a growing family controversy. Interestingly, May still follows Linc, despite the unfolding drama.
This development comes after Emeka Ugwuonye, legal counsel to May Edochie, released a detailed statement addressing the ongoing social media feud between May and Linc’s fiancée, Yinka Theisen.
According to Ugwuonye, Yinka, who recently got engaged to Linc, has clashed repeatedly with May’s supporters online. He alleged that Yinka had a long history of supporting Judy Austin, Yul Edochie’s controversial second wife, and was known among Judy’s fans as “Lady A.”
Ugwuonye claimed that shortly after May unveiled her new white Range Rover, Yinka gifted Judy Austin’s son a similar-looking car—a move he believes was a calculated effort to imitate or undermine May.
More seriously, the lawyer alleged that Yinka previously used fake social media accounts to troll and attack May, actress Rita Edochie, and even Linc himself, before the two began dating. These attacks reportedly began after May allegedly refused Yinka’s attempts to make contact, due to her loyalty to Linc’s former wife, Amaka.
Ugwuonye further suggested that Judy Austin herself orchestrated the introduction between Yinka and Linc, although Linc might not be aware of this connection.
Once the relationship became public, Yinka allegedly deleted her previous negative posts about Linc.
Despite calling herself Linc’s “wife” online, Ugwuonye clarified that the couple is not yet married but engaged.
“Yinka has been Judy’s supporter for a long time,” Ugwuonye stated.
“She used to abuse May, Rita Edochie, and even Linc with fake accounts. Her attacks on May started after May kept ignoring her messages, likely because of her support for Amaka.”
Tensions flared recently when Yinka got into heated exchanges with May’s fan base on social media. Some critics accused Yinka of disrespect and threatened to expose private details about her personal life.
Linc has since stepped in to defend Yinka, publicly referring to her as his wife and warning online trolls to “mind their business.”
Linc, the son of veteran actor Pete Edochie, quietly wed Yinka in a private ceremony after ending his previous marriage.
Yinka, a US-based mother with adult children, first made their relationship public in May via a post celebrating their transition from friends to lovers.
Meanwhile, May Edochie continues her legal separation process from her estranged husband, Yul Edochie, with her lawyer remaining vocal about the online harassment she has faced.
