“I was beaten like a chicken on Christmas Day” – Makhadzi Alleges Physical Abuse by Ex-Boyfriend, Fears for Her Life Ahead of Album Release

Makhadzi Affirms Strong Bond with Master KG Despite Breakup

Award-winning South African singer Makhadzi has made shocking allegations of physical abuse by her ex-boyfriend, leaving fans concerned for her safety.

Taking to Facebook, the Ghanama hitmaker — whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona — posted a video and several images showing visible bruises and a scar on her forehead, which she claimed were caused by repeated assaults during their relationship.

“Can you see this? I was beaten like a dog. When I asked him why he was beating me, he said it was so I could be uglier, even worse,” Makhadzi said in the video.

Though she did not name her alleged abuser, Makhadzi revealed that the relationship, which started with love, turned violent and life-threatening. She claimed her ex threatened to kill her if she went ahead with releasing her upcoming album.

“I was beaten like a chicken on Christmas Day. I will tell my story. Just know that my album, #OneWomanStanding, is coming. And it might be my last because they’ll kill me the moment I expose them,” she wrote in one post.

Makhadzi added, “This album holds many secrets. I chose to reveal these secrets because I love music. Just say RIP now, because I know I’m revealing a lot, I’m digging my own grave.”

Although she later deleted the posts, the singer said it was only to prevent being blocked by the platform, reaffirming the authenticity of her claims.

Her revelations have sparked widespread reactions online. While many fans expressed concern and support, others questioned the timing of her disclosure, accusing her of using the situation to promote her album.

As of the time of this report, the identity of the accused ex-boyfriend has not been made public.
