Suspended Kogi Central Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has revealed that the Federal Government is moving to arrest her over criminal defamation charges.
The cases stem from an April interview where she accused Senate President Godswill Akpabio and ex-Governor Yahaya Bello of plotting to kill her.
The Department of Public Prosecutions sought a bench warrant at the Federal High Court in Abuja, but Justice M.G. Umar rejected the request, noting she hadn’t been served before the hearing.
Natasha confirmed the charges via her verified social media account, noting her readiness to appear in court on June 19 and June 30, 2025.
