Nigerian Model Nwaoma Ukachukwu Raises Alarm Over Looming National Crisis, Predicts Famine and Widespread Insecurity

Nigerian model and humanitarian, Miss Nwaoma Ukachukwu, has issued a stark warning about an impending crisis that she says threatens to engulf the entire country if urgent action is not taken.

In a statement made available to the media, Nwaoma described revelations she claimed were divinely shown to her, pointing to escalating insecurity across Benue, the South East, North East, North West, Middle Belt, and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). She warned that the worsening state of insecurity could cripple agriculture, especially as Nigeria enters the critical planting season.

“I see a rising wave of criminality across these regions that will frustrate farming activities. The result will be famine and loss of life if nothing is done,” she stated.

Drawing biblical parallels, Nwaoma likened the looming hardship to the pestilence that befell Egypt in the days of Pharaoh.

“A great pestilence lies ahead, and things will continue to deteriorate unless the ‘Egyptians’—those holding down Nigeria’s prosperity—exit the scene for good,” she warned.

She accused political leaders of deliberately fostering chaos to advance personal or political agendas.

“People in government are playing dangerous games with citizens’ lives. These crises—whether banditry, terrorism or communal clashes—are directly affecting farmers across the country, from Plateau and Benue to Zamfara, Borno and Yobe, even the South East. Farmers can no longer work in peace or access their lands safely,” she lamented.

Nwaoma, who is also the CEO of the Nwaoma Foundation, criticized the government’s failure to safeguard citizens, stating that official neglect was worsening poverty, food insecurity, and inflation.

“We are on the brink of famine. Bad governance has driven the nation into deeper poverty. Food prices are skyrocketing, and people are struggling to survive. If the government fails to act swiftly by tackling insecurity and ensuring food reserves, the result will be mass hunger, crime, and death,” she warned.

She called for decisive action to prevent the crisis from spiraling out of control.

“The crime rate will triple amid hunger and desperation. Without urgent intervention, this will lead to a humanitarian disaster worse than any civil unrest we have witnessed before,” she said.

Nwaoma further lamented what she described as a spirit of greed and selfishness among Nigeria’s political class.

“We need humanity and compassion to replace greed. We must become our brother’s keeper again. If not, civil war will pale in comparison to the disaster that lies ahead. We must act now,” she concluded.
