Romeo Beckham has reportedly ended his relationship with model and DJ Kim Turnbull, just weeks after his father David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebrations. Sources close to the couple say the breakup happened about three weeks after the milestone event, and that the romance had simply “fizzled out.”
Despite the split, insiders maintain that things remain amicable between Romeo and Kim, and the decision to part ways had nothing to do with the ongoing tension between Nicola Peltz and the Beckham family.
“Romeo and Kim are both young and had a lovely time together,” a source told The Mail. “But at that age, relationships don’t always last forever.”
The source added that both have demanding careers, with Kim focused on her work as a DJ and Romeo balancing professional commitments, including extensive travel. “Their lifestyles just didn’t align for a long-term relationship,” the insider said.
Beckham Family Still Fond of Kim Turnbull
Kim had attended several of David Beckham’s birthday events, including the star-studded celebration at Cipriani in Miami, and was well-regarded by the Beckham family. “David and Victoria really adored her,” the source added, “and thought she made Romeo happy.”
The former couple were even seen at C Restaurant in Mayfair, London, last Friday night—but arrived separately with friends. Although they left together, the pair had already broken up by then.
Rumors of Past Involvement with Brooklyn Beckham Debunked
Speculation surrounding Kim’s closeness to Brooklyn Beckham resurfaced recently, with some social media users accusing Romeo of dating his brother’s ex. However, Brooklyn’s younger brother, Cruz Beckham, directly shut down the rumors in a now-deleted Instagram comment, writing:
“Brooklyn and Kim never dated.”
Sources further clarified that Kim was never romantically involved with Brooklyn, although they were “undeniably close” for a brief time.
Who Is Kim Turnbull?
Kim Turnbull comes from a prestigious creative family. She is the granddaughter of celebrated post-war sculptor and painter William Turnbull, and her father Alex Turnbull was part of the iconic 1970s post-punk band 23 Skidoo.
While the breakup marks the end of a high-profile young romance, sources emphasize that Kim has been unfairly blamed for the ongoing family rift involving Nicola Peltz and Brooklyn Beckham.
“This is nothing to do with Kim and is all about Nicola,” a close friend clarified.
