Nollywood actress Ruby Ojiakor has proudly showcased her wedding ring in a new video following her white wedding to filmmaker Moc Madu, in what many interpret as a subtle response to her critics.
The 30-year-old completed the final leg of her wedding celebrations on Saturday in a ceremony graced by numerous Nollywood stars, including Ruth Eze, Luchy Donalds, Destiny Etiko, Queeneth Hilbert, BBNaija’s Queen Mercy Atang, and veteran actress Ngozi Ezeonu.
Ruby and Moc, who had their traditional wedding in February, sealed their union in a lavish white wedding ceremony, which followed a week filled with love-themed posts and spiritual devotion.
From matching pre-wedding outfits to a bridal shower that evolved into a worship session, the actress seamlessly blended romance with reverence, reinforcing her identity as both a lover and a believer.
In one of her social media posts ahead of the event, Ruby issued a bold message to naysayers, writing, “What God has joined together, let no man put asunder,” while daring critics to “speak now or forever remain silent.”
She first revealed her engagement to Moc Madu back in January via Instagram, sharing a touching video of his proposal and calling him the love of her life.
At their traditional wedding, Ruby captured hearts when she went barefoot and knelt to honor her husband, fondly referring to him as her “Odogwu.”
With her white wedding now complete, Ruby’s proud display of her ring signals not just a celebration of love, but also a firm stand against those who doubted her journey.
